Their guitar based music takes the form of huge effects laden soundscapes all beating with a heart of pure pop. Their contrast of wild guitars and meaty hooks have endeared them to many a live audience. This is spiky post pop rock beaming with dualling vocal harmonies from front man Dan Buchanan and bassist Jess Del Rio. The Zutons, Baby shambles, Captain and The Spinto Band are just a handful of acts who’ve had the difficulty of following The Race’s aural blast.
