pietro
Hiya glynn I remember seeing some of the names of the casualties, in a book somewhere. I'll try to get the brain into gear this week and find where I saw them.

Also if you do find the book can you let me know what it is called, thanks Glynn.

boogaloo
Does anyone know if there are any photos of the Baltic public house that was on Effingham Street attercliffe anywhere? When I was born I was living there with my mum and dad, it was run by grandad Thorpe then, and my now 85 year old mum would like a photo of it. cheers Ray. Greybeard
Appreciate this thread is now six years old, but if anyone still needs the names in the 'Roll of Honour' for the victims of the raid, it can be found here - http://www.brigantian.force9.co.uk/roh.html and more info about the raid here - http://www.chrishobbs.com/sheffieldsfirstraid1916.htm
