My grandfather was called Herbert I am not sure where they lived.

No sorry, the only relations of ours who lived near there were my Aunt Lydia, and her son Robert Swallow, who lived on Margate Draive

darrell, have you looked in grimesthorpes threads, loads of interesting stuff.

might see you there some time, or maybe out side the old victory cinema,

the old bug hut in upwell street. ( had some good times in there.

we use to walk in and ride out.-------they were the good days,6d sat afternoons,

plus an orange if you was good,-----9d in week, 1/3d up stairs, if you could get

up, cos it was full of birds,====and i dont mean them what fly`s. bye

i lived at 742 grimesthorpe road an 60 something botham street in th 1960s whent to owlerlane infants grimesthorpe road junior owlerlane senior school used to ride my trolly down cyclops street. anyone got any pictures of the area love to see them happy days for me

hi dave, i lived in grimesthorpe rd, i think the number was 586.

it was a 16 room house on smiths fields, and back of house looked onto grimesthorpe rd.

mrs taffender was the tennant, but the property was own by duke of norfolk.

where about was your house. ( had some good times in grimmy )
