PRELIMINARY Local Authority Search/Enquiries Water Company search Coal Mining Search Environmental Search 2. PRE-COMPLETION HMLR search (or Land Charges search) Bankruptcy search [if mortgage completed] Bank fees for CHAPS 3. I have a suggestion, try doing things on-line, it may speed things up and your clients may not all thing your useless, timewasting, overcharging twits(sp). We've had to do all the chasing, ask them to re-read emails and pdf's of bank statements. Even so far as going "If you look at the statement, there is a 3 between the £ and the 5." Every time we ring up we get "Oh, we just received a letter this morning" How convenient. Utter useless. Why are searches done every single time a property is bought.
