drp215
The menu we looked at tonight was approx: Starters £4-£5 ish, mains £12-£15 ish. Basic (nice) wine £13.95 per bottle. It cost us £70 for 2 starters, 2 mains, 1 dessert, 2 bottles of wine and a liqueur coffee.

pippadoll
We visited the restaurant recently in the evening. The food was great. Had different starters - the mushroom was outstanding; the peppers really tasty, as were the fishcakes with hollandaise (yummy). Mains equally as good; I was told that the lamb was exquisite. I had the monkfish, which was huge; it was very tasty but it would be much better on a large bowl. I struggled to manage it from the bowl. The chunky chips were out of this world but we couldn't finish them. A bit disappointed with the dessert choice. Maybe you need a classic, that is not too fussy...opted for brandy coffee instead. Wine list good. Overall, very enjoyable; we will be back soon. Thanks
