kurlymunky Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 I know this has been discussed before but have any of you been out for a meal and had a really good steak recently..cooked exactly as you asked for .. in a restaurant in Sheffield or Derbyshire area? We go to Damons now and again as they do cook it well, but fancied trying somewhere new. Any suggestions would be gratefully received! Bad_Hair_Day Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Oooh, there's a pub at Calver, called the Derwentwater Arms - went there last summer and had a fantastic steak. It came with loads of lovely (fresh) veg, home made onion rings and handcut chips (don't anyone start about those again!). The steak was massive! Not expensive either.
