troyhark Posted January 29, 2007 Share Posted January 29, 2007 half of your posts are insults, ive no doubt you'll soon be insulting people for not employing correct grammar etc. i'd be comfortable going to a smoking pub (which could have a warning saying - smoking may kill etc) while you can comfortably go to a non smoking pub, now both would be welcome in either pub but in one smoking would take place and in the other it wouldnt, and i'd happily refrain in the non smoking pub, and you'd hopefully refrain from moaning in the smoking pub. in the all out ban scenario, i and others will flout it, or if im liable for a fine which i believe is true, i'll start smoking cannabis in pubs more often. And 100% of your posts are nonsense! Junkie justifications usually. Desribing a junkie as a junkie or an idiot as an idiotic are not insults, they are merely descriptive. The ban is actually to protect workers, who have no choice but to breath in your toxic fumes. Apart from being a bit lairy and arsey - someone who is coked up isnt going to affect you in the same way as someone beside you smoking how someone can condone an illegal drug because it does not harm the people around them, what about the non drug takers that are pressured into taking drugs so they can stay up all night to keep up with their coked up/pilled up mates. BigAng Posted January 29, 2007 Author Share Posted January 29, 2007 also, cancer is caused by vehicle emmissions. we dont say anything about that because we all need transport, but it is harmful to us all. smoking is not the only cause of death by cancer. can someone on here please have solid evidence to prove passive smoking causes cancer instead of bashing on about the ban coz it makes your clothes smell. and nobody has commented on the fact that the government is only acting now. I would have thought the vast majority of people can say they don't do pills, fet or coke. I don't think your view of society is an accurate reflection. Maybe they might want to go to pubs and clubs for the atmosphere, the music, the socialising. You don't have to drink and smoke in them.
