BigAng
i know someone who has been to a pub in ireland that has implemented the smoking ban, they get the ashtrays out later on and the premises that is allocated for smokers does not meet the regulations of the current legislation, ie a full roof and enclosed. do you really think that all your lives will be saved due to the smoking ban? why live longer, you wont get a decent pension, global warming will make a lot of houses lose value and the one way racism deal that doesn't cover white people being victims of racism. my friend is quitting his evening pub job on july 1st because he cant smoke inside the pub when it is not busy. how is this all going to help the economy if fags were not there. Not everyone drinks, some down to religion, most people who come into this country to work are sending the money home. all you non smoking coke taking people enjoy city centre life. Im going to do the private party thing, much more fun!
BigAng
if someone goes to a pub and does not drink, the landlord would not have a business! why extend licencing laws so people can drink pop and water, you can drink that at home
troyhark
i tell you all now, half of these that say smoking is disgusting can only truly say that if you dont partake in drugs. Can anyone on here say that they dont do pills, fet or coke? it all went a bit silent when i came out with that! Apart from the fact that those drugs you mention do not force others to join in, which actually is the issue, not that it's a drug. I don't need drugs to have fun, it others want to use them fine, making me join in with you, against my will is not fine. Should I want drugs I will put them in my body when I want to. If I don't want to then I won't. Except smokers who decide to ram their drug down our throats with out any consideration at all.

BigAng
so when i go into gatecrasher and see nothing but evidence that coke has been snorted by all the up your own arse people, if that is not effecting me or my 18 year old nephew that i want to take clubbing then you are all talkin ******. All i asked for if anyone would care to actually read my point at the start of the thread, was a room that was provided if people would like a cigarette. You already have a non smoking pub, that one next to ask, wetherspoons is it, i would not know coz i dont want to go to a place where i cant smoke. so why dont you all just fuk off in there and snort your coke and keep away from the smokers that you are offending by telling us that we cannot consume a legal product that the government has had plenty of time to obolish, but you all condone watching other people roll their eyes off their heads. Are you not law abiding citizens? Would you not report these offending people who are openly taking drugs in front of you that are obviously illegal. Double standards. Until someone actually has a point, i suggest you shud all not add to this post. I dont ram smoke down anyones throat, i sit in the designated area for smoking. I even asked someone today if they minded if i sat on a public seat outside while i had a fag. really! by the way, nobody has responded to the walking on the moon statement, how many people believed they did? hee hee

There won't be any rooms provided as it wouldn't really be a ban then would it You already have a non smoking pub in 5 months time we will have many more
willman
. so why are you on this post that is about smoking ban in pubs and clubs, what do you go there for? ! 'cos i'm entitled to be able too. i go to pubs to eat or to socialise with friends & family. i used to go to pubs to work but after 5 years we quit - surprisingly my "asthma" attacks are down to 1 a year and not 1 a day. BigAng
im going, all this is making me want a fag! by the way, if there is one person who smokes already at home that does not want to quit, how can I? I cant see how it will benefit my life to quit smoking. Oh and by the way, if fags go down in sales as a result of us lot giving up, your taxes will go up as a result. Would it not be better to support smokers and you non smokers pay less tax in the long run!
