Darbees
At my workplace smoking is banned for safety/common sense/insurance reasons cos we have flammable stuff around but sometimes we get nutters who hide a burning cigarette in their cupped hand and think I don't notice. tom3t0
Yes, self enforcement should work. It worked on buses & in cinemas. You will always get the occasional confrontational nut-job (like that guy on the tram at Halfway), but they will be the exception rather than the rule. howcome each bus that arrives at the depot for cleaning has on average 2 cigarette butts and 1-2 cans of super strength lager along with 2-3 takeaway leftovers
Darbees
Only if you have a soft drink, the smell of beer on somebody to those that haven't had one is unbelievably strong:D I'll have to see what happens then, it will be a shame if beer is banned too. BasilRathbon
Will pubs still have fag machines in them post 7/1? The fact you can't use the product on the premises is irrelevant; after all, they sell condoms in the toilets, don't they?

I jest! But honestly haven't noticed anyone smoking on a bus (barring the old route to hell/club wow) for years & years. Does anyone else think that smoking on buses is rife? *_ash_*
The 'no' option isn't very well worded slimsid (for me anyway). I'm going to click on 'no' but I'm not dreading it.
md25
I don't enjoy smoky pubs at all, but it should be up to the landlord whether or not smoking happens in his pub.
cressida
does the no smoking ban include herbal cigarettes which are nicotine free?
