The all things tattoo megathread

Recommended Posts

Looking to get my first tattoo done in sheffield. Want to get an angel half sleeve done in realistic black and grey style with good shading. Who is the best artist in sheffield for this? Been in to Thou Art but not sure if they have someone who really specialises in what im after. (the colour and traditional stuff looked great)

Im also looking to get a black and grey half sleeve. I went to dragon with pictures etc and they were really helpfull. Since then i have spoke to my friend who has a really good half sleeve, he said goto feel the steel they are much better and specialise in this. Confused.com. So i will try feel the steel. I want this to look amazing so need to find the right place!!!!!!

Hi guys.

Have decided I'm going to get a tattoo but really don't know what I should and shouldn't look out for so any advice would be very helpful.

I know exactly what the design will be and where it will be located but was wondering about what the most painful place to have a tattoo is, is hair growth a problem, do you have to be waxed first etc.

Any advice would be very helpful including costs.

PS. Quality is paramount.

Thanks.
