The all things tattoo megathread

Recommended Posts

I read all the posts as they went up. I hope misfit got some sound advice out of it. Asking for advice on a forum like this is a good thing and I hope that the nastiness won't stop others from trying to learn.

Any other recommendations as well as Forgiven? Im looking to get my first, eeek and not sure whether to go with foot or lower back??

I'm still recommending DNA Art Tattoos on South Road....

but wherever you decide to go, I should warn you that I've heard the top of the foot is one of the more painful locations. I have one on my right thigh and another on my right shoulder. Maybe someone with a foot tattoo can tell you if the foot hurts more then other areas...

I have a celtic band and a medium sized bat on my lower back and having these done was a little uncomfortable but not that painful, whilst my sister had a tattoo on her ankle and she said it was really painful.
