stonerose
it just a traditional boozer, there are plenty of other pubs that cater for pool/jukeboxes, fagans is a dying breed a pub where you can go for a drink and feel comfortable, i dont think of it as an irish bar as ive never met an irish person there
Tradescanthia
Last time I was in there I think it was called the Barrell Inn and a geezer called Fagan was the landlord [1966/7 ish].
BasilRathbon
Might I add my voice to those speaking out in defence of Fagans. When my friends and I shared a rehearsal room on Bailey Street back in the 1990s, this was our local and we had many happy nights in there with excellent beer and enjoyable music. I suspect that D-Money got lost on his way to the pretentious, overpriced and poncey "bars" of West Street, which is clearly more his scene. PuressenceUK
Fagans is the sort of pub where anyone with the views of the OP can think that all they like, as they sound like the sort of people we don't need in there.

D_Money
Maybe the thread should be re-named - D_Money - Possibly the worst judge of pubs in Sheffield? Or Halibut - Never done it with a girl

You say happy nights Did you mean, sad lonely nights where you hung out with some lefties and then went back home to pleasure yourself over 10 minutes of freeview porn Great night
