zakes Posted August 25, 2014 Share Posted August 25, 2014 Spa club Frecheville sheffield I first went in the Spa club[Whitbread] during the late 60's, and a fair few times up to 1975. 1. Geoff Booth. Geoff was mentioned by Bypassblade. I occasionally knocked about with Geoff, 1965-68 and he was a good lad. Geoff had a reputation of being a toughie in those days and I can vouch fot it too. We got up to some reight tricks. He lived on Silkstone and went to Frecheville school. I lived ont Newstead and went to Birley school. 2. Frank Thompson. He was a former secretary at the Spa club and he had 2 sons, Dave? and Frank jnr. I believe Frank snr died of asbestosis in the late 60's. He had lived on Rainbow Avenue. Sleep well gentlemen. Ps.
