Ousetunes
The Ibanez should be ideal IMO. Washburn aren't a bad manufacturer but Ibanez is a better guitar, particularly at the higher end of the price range. However, I stress that you shouldn't buy any guitar without trying it first. Get down to Sound Control and try out a range of Washburns and Ibanez and other makes.

Catch22
Ibanez. But try and buy good qual second hand. As it seems to be your first guitar the fender squier range are of good value but obviously not as 'rocky' as the ibanez. Marshall cd10 amp is a good practice amp and has an input so you can jam to your fav tunes.
Till Man
Of the 2 I'd get the Ibanez. However, if I were still in the market for an electric I would try for an Epiphone Les Paul. I got one last year on Ebay for £112 so it is possible to get a bargain!
