John Ritchie Dies

Yes, John Ritchie was a very good header of the ball, and not too bad on the ground. A player you all may remember from this era was Alan Warboys, he was a player that big John took under his wing whilst he was with S.W. he taught him a few things, like being more agressive in his challenging for the ball etc. I saw them both play in many games together during the late 60.s. Jack Witham was OK but very injury prone as Danny Williams the manager found out. How Liverpool got to sign Witham is another story.
