RIP, Jock, oldest surviving FA cup final player, and Blades Hall-Of Famer

Recommended Posts

We aren't being fuddy duddy.

YOU are being offensive.

To mock like that is not "looking on the light side" by any stretch of the imagination. It was cruel, and nasty, and not at all necessary.

All we are doing is honouring the memory of an elderly man, who did something very special, in his lifetime, and brought much enjoyment to others in the skills he displayed as a footballer.

So, please, take your nastiness, and spread it somewhere else. We've already told you, it's not welcome here.

It must have been in 2001 when he was on the pitch at half time, looking pretty well too!

He'd been ill for quite some time, but it was still very sad news.

It's worth remembering that we were a Division 2 outfit in '36, taking on the Chelsea/Man United of the time.

When you re-enact the '36 Final Jock, don't hit the bar this time ........ :hihi:

Score In Peace, Blade.
