The blend of disco house, with old skool funk was very cool but they just did not move things forward. They went for the commercial vocal cheese and now represent everything that is just **** in house music. No originality, no creativity equals crap. People are like sheep, give them crap and they will eat it. They know no better as they follow fashion and thats all Hed Kandi is, FASHION. Compared to Southport weekender, musically Hed Kandi is totally inferior. Its a pity there are not many nights that represent the genres of music that is showcased at Southport, weekly with real clubbers, and not party poopers.
