After all, it's a bit of an obvious name for a shoe shop. Hardly a coincidence. I was based at Saxone which was situated in the building on Fargate that now is the Halifax Bank. To answer everyone's question: Dolcis was on Fargate on the right-hand side near the top as you walked up. kung fu grip Posted February 10, 2005 Share Posted February 10, 2005 The shoe shop with the train was called B.L.F.A. which stood for Basic Leisure Flash Action probably the stranegest named shoe shop ever and second only to the big size specialist SASQUACH AND SONS..I applied for a job there when i was about 16/17.
