Absolutely LOVING the tracks on MySpace from Mongrel, the new band consisting of Matt Helders of the Arctics, Andy Nicholson ex of the Arctics, The 'Reverend' Jon McClure, and Drew McConnell out of Babyshambles.

 

Reminds me a lot of The Clash at the time of "Sandinista".

 

And their politics are cool!

THE STREETS

 

this morning / and the way home i was listening to the streets bootleg album :-

down the streets (live and remixes etc)

 

then when i got home i fancied blasting out some of my cds so..........

 

a grand dont come for free

original pirate material

 

at the minute its some of my fave tracks off cd singles (like has it come to this (original mix), lets push things forward (live in france), when i wasnt famous cd single (pink one)

now.....pure garage v (disc 2).....cos it features the streets track pure garage (the only place you can find it)

i might finish with the hardest way to make an easy living

Driving back yesterday I had a double Jet extravaganza.

 

This morning I've taken a short time flip back to 2006 and listened to stuff from that year. (ish) and a few eclectic bits.
