melthebell
Ozric Tentacles - Erpland possibly my most fave trippy band and my fave album by them (their 2nd, proper album not counting their multitude of cassette only releases, the first album had kickmuck but this is spacier and dubbier, also was on double vinyl originally )
metalman
Another excellent choice Mel. Tonight I was listening to Saint Agnes Fountain by Masayo Asahara, which purports to be a long lost Japanese drone prog jazz obscurity from the 70s but is actually Sheffield-based avant-garde improviser Martin Archer under another name. Picked it up in a charity shop for 50p! Probably one to send most people screaming into the hills but I rather liked it.

metalman
Yeah, well, the trouble is I have to shuffle through millions of CDs by the likes of Steps, Blazin Squad, Craig David etc before I find anything weird. Went for something more traditional after that; The smoker you drink, the player you get by Joe Walsh. Shame he wimped out and took the money by joining the Eagles.
