NEKRO138
slowdive - souvlaki (creation recs crecd139) - 1993 Had their anthology on the other day. You should look up Wolves in the Throne Room Mel. It goes from shoegaze drone to death metal. Absolutely stunning.

shims
Checking out the new arrivals which landed on the door mat this morn ... Mario Canonge - Chawa (1997) - a fabulous pianist from Martinique Chops - Food For Naught (2003?) - mostly instrumental Hip Hop album with a 70's soundtrack feel. Then I dug out an old favourite: São Paulo Confessions by Suba (the late Brazilian based Serbian electronic producer most well known for his production of Bebel Gilberto. That's nearly finished so I'll see if I can dig a Fernanda Porto CD from the boxes as I'm staying with Brazil now.
