i love it too. i like me a bit of creativity, passion and musicians having fun.

used to consider myself a bit of a drummer (in reality probably sounded like somebody using house bricks for sticks! ... but i had fun!).

1st vid brings back memories of some jazzy licks ... in that 2nd one the two guys (one with a bass sax) look and sound like they're having fun. that was alright.

Gettingon,

Thank you for your observations. I definitely agree with you -it is about having fun. Go on and play those drums. You may like Art Blakey .A driving force on drums in the Jazz Messengers.

Vastly underrated hard bob drummer. Dress sense impeccable

You'll have to forgive his language. Fast forward the video a little.

Sonnenberg - End of the rain. Never heard of it, it was another random 49p pluck from the bargain bin, but apparently they are an Anglo-German folk duo from Liverpool and they're on the Probe Plus label. And it's a really pleasant folk-pop album, all sorts of influences all over it from Nick Drake to Bert Jansch and so on. Excellent stuff - if you see it, buy it.
