smary
My husband used to cycle regularly with this club - anyone out there remember Bob Winter. He is still very active but rarely gets out on his bike - too busy enjoying his life on his boat.

Cycleracer
My husband used to cycle regularly with this club - anyone out there remember Bob Winter. He is still very active but rarely gets out on his bike - too busy enjoying his life on his boat. He would have raced against Brian Jolly then, he was good. Maybe he raced against the late Tommy Simpson and Brian Robinson both who raced in the am/ture races that were rife in Sheffield in the early 60s, though Robinson and Simpson might have been pro's by 1962. smary
He finished second to Brian Jolly in Tom Simpson Grand Prix in 1966 - he says the reason he didnt win was because the day before he had ridden in the National Championships which Brian Jolly didnt take part in
