kat_1b
I used to go in Crystal when it first opened, but it has gone downhill and isn't a pleasant place to have a drink. A shame because the interior is very nice, but it's definately a ten-bob millionnaire place!
kat_1b
also, we tried to pop in for a quick drink a few months back, mid-week, and were told we had to pay to get in!? So we pay £4 to get in, for one drink resulting in an expensive half!!! No thank you.

There are no bars/clubs in Sheffield I'd get dressed up for. What's the point?
nick2
There are no bars/clubs in Sheffield I'd get dressed up for. What's the point? It's not just that, a lot of people (even in Sheffield) spend all week being told what to wear, and haivng to look "smart", at the weekend you want to kick-back, relax, and wear what you want. It's not like wears shoes, trousers and shirts instantly makes the customers into civilised/interesting/classy people. Personally, I don't go anywhere that has a "dress code" because I refuse to be told what to wear by a club/bar, there are planty of other establishemnts happy to take my money. I once once asked to remove an item of clothing as it was associated with a certain culture. I took said item, put it in my friends car and walked straight in the bar. Now where's the sense in that? future_wag
yep i appreciate both of your points, but maybe coz im a girl i like to dress up a bit when i go out, esp at the weekends, makes me look and feel a bit better about myself instead of just bein in 'lounge about' clothes. But each to their own!
