Recommended Posts

I was at Newhall in the 1940s, and my classmates included Derek Brown, Maurice Salvin, Graham Watson, Eric Hancock, etc. Great days under Jerry Bronks, and teachers like Ken Holmes and old Mr Connelly, Miss Bloom, Miss Turton.

Hi Redfyer, Derek Brown and Maurice Salvin went on to the Central Tech' after Newall, they were both in the same form as me at the Tech', as was Trevor Swancot, who I think came off Liverpool St and Allan Roly. They were all good school mates, havent seen any of them for years. (I moved to Rotherham 44 years ago!! )
