JoeP
I've not been to this one but Akbars in Leeds is a fine place. Small armies have been known to survive for 2 days on their family Nan breads.

Good service, good food, v good indeed. Hi, want to go this Saturday, what time did you go?

Modernsoulman
Was thinking of going tonight as it's only a 5 minute walk for me. Won't be going now though as I have just visited the Akbar website & the restaurant is listed as Sheffield. Meadowbank road always has been Rotherham & always will be. Perhaps if Mr Akbar wants a Sheffield restaurant he should buy 1 there but he might find his business rates will double overnight.

JoeP
Can I suggest that the topic sticks to the restaurant and it's food rather than the geography of the Sheffield / Rotherham connurbation? Thanks.
