Also sledging down Grasmere Road when it snowed. My Gran lived on the corner of Rydal and Grasmere. Think I know who you might be. regards bluewren just joined forum today & read your thread my grandparents lived on Rydal road can't reme mber the no but it was on the railway line side 2nd yard down from the railway bridge bottom of woodseats road. mr & mrs Frost do you remember them?
