UNDERGROUND HEROES:

Brothers Aaron and Joe Dollimore, George Penfold and Jak Miller. Playing gritty, grimey punk in dirty venues singing about their chavvy mates and nights out, Underground Heroes are not too dis similar from their own Heroes and Influences, such as The Clash, The Jam and The Specials.

During their first year of playing together the boys have had a huge amount of success. Starting the year playing gigs at the well respected local music venue "Tap n Tin" through to slots at various summer music festivals, playing Ibiza Rocks wth The View and The Automatic and finishing it at the London Astoria, again supporting The View. They also played as tour support on The View's tour this year and played with other bands such as Bromhead's Jacket, The Cribs, Captain and Get Cape Wear Cape Fly.

Aswell as playing live the boys had their first official releases this year. "Alright Darlin'" appeared on the Ibiza Rocks compilation disc whilst "Stella The Mistress" was released by 1965 Records, with "Lost In Dundee" as a B side. This limited edtion single achieved great success, being played by XFM London, XFM Scotland and getting second Place on Zane Lowe's "fresh meat".

After a 100 mph year, Underground Heroes plan bigger and better things for the next. More Gigs, more sweat, more songs, more blood, more **** hole venues, more motorways, and loads more Rock n Roll.

To quote our pals "You'd be AMAZED at what you can achieve in a year"

HEADLINERS:

The Headliners started February 2006 and are based in Barnsley. The band consists of five members. The Headliners are building up a large following as they proceed to gig throughout the UK. The Headliners have supported the likes of 'The Pigeon Detectives', 'Little Man Tate', 'The Holloways', 'The Wombats, 'Polytechnic' and other great bands. Recently the band received recognition by, winning a battle of the bands competition, mentions in the press, and first rate reviews. Drawing individual influences together, every track caters to any taste with an entirely unique sound to any bands in the general area.
