Places we take our LO's:

Millhouses or Rivelin cafes

Waggon and Horses (pub restaurant next door to Millhouses park) - good non smoking area, but no highchairs

Pizza Hut at Hillsborough (not particularly nice, but practical)

Felicini's - Ecclesall Road is OK and has highchairs (Italian chain)

Castle at Castleton (pub - lovely drive out and highchairs and good kids menu)

The Moorlands (Brewers Fayre) on the A621 just out of Totley is ked friendly and has ball pool for them to go and play in whilst you eat (and they've run off full of kiddie menu food...)

Our kids (eleven, eight) love going to Rowsha in Walkley. Lebanese food (bit like greek/turkish), so you can order lots of little dishes rather than big main courses . Very child friendly owners (there was a big family group in last time we were there, babies and all) and very tasty food. BYO mid week makes it quite good value, too.

There's Centertainment across from Sheffield arena thats got all sorts of restaurants in close proxmity plus a bowling alley and cinema. Its abit away from the city centre but near Meadowhall if you're visiting there? There is also TGI fridays nearby. :)

Where are you going to be staying, and what sort of transport do you have, and how old are the little darlings? How many are you in total, and does anyone live locally, or are you all visiting?

Might just have a bearing on where you can go ......

Kumquat Mae on Abbeyadale Road - doesn't have a kids menu as such but there are often children in there. Nikki the cook and propriotess will even do them pizza etc if you give her enough notice. If you want something more snacky them Bohemian on Chesterfield Road is great and definitely child friendly - Meersbrook is the place to be...
