spinac Posted November 18, 2004 Share Posted November 18, 2004 aaaaahhhhh I don't belieeeeeeve it .... phoned this morning at 8.00am only to find new student booking at Goodwin has blocked us out next Thu - I managed to get a court at Hillsborough but earliest was 8.30. I'm going to go down to Hillsborough and see if I can get my own block booking for another night at 7pm and also follow up Tas's post about Tapton school - will update you, but as of now next game is 8.30 next Thu 25th at 8.30 ... stay tuned Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

spinac Posted November 20, 2004 Share Posted November 20, 2004 's cool see you thu and anyone else who can join us. :clap:Good news (for most): I am waiting for approval on a block booking at Hillsborough, Wednesday nights at 7.30 (not possible Tue or Thu). I submitted an application this afternoon and should hear back early next week. I know this won't be suitable for everyone (venue and night) but hopefully the time is slightly better and a regular booking will mean we all know where we stand. spinac Posted November 20, 2004 Share Posted November 20, 2004 what on earth is going on ... no sooner do i get a court booked than i get a phone call to tell me that there's been a mistake and our badminton booking has been cancelled - apparently an indoor cycling (in a sports hall ???) event has been booked for some time this thursday, but it didn't get entered in the hillsborough booking system ... sorry guys, this thursday is off ... still have the hope of getting the regular wed night booking ... I've been told that there shouldn't be a problem with my request for a block booking on Wednesday nights from 7.30 to 9.00. If i get confirmation then first night will be Wed 1st Dec.
