hi mixedup.

 

there are lots of photos of the crookesmoor area on picturesheffield,

I lived on Fawcett Street in the 50's and remember the hundred steps which were about halfway up Bromley Street on the left hand side.

I had a school pal called Raymond Earl who lived just before the bottom of the steps on the same side.

you'd probably have known my father's family, then, lastorders! My grandparents lived om Fawcett St, until about 1957 when the clearance took place.

this is an old pic, the terraced housing is long-gone.
