mikal
Hi all, I lived on Longley Avenue in the 50s,I remember playing cricket across the road, hardly any cars to bother about. Going fishing up to the seven ponds, and having winter warmers when playing on the meadows. I also was a paper boy for the newsagent near Shirecliffe Road,I think it was called Bretts ! . Also collecting scrap copper cable from the tip, but never able to make any money out of it.
