Katerpillar
I have had a right to-do today to find out where to buy tickets for Sheffield Philharmonic Concerts - usually you can buy them at the City Hall but of course they're closed...! (These are the concerts in the Octagon and Cathedral that are replacing the usual City Hall season.) So anyway, I just thought I would pass on the fruits of my labour, which is that the only place you can buy them without a booking fee is in person at the Crucible Box Office, using cash or cheque. Anywhere else (eg Arena, Sheffield Uni Student Union)will charge 10% (!!!), but Sheffield Theatres has refused to charge a booking fee (hurrah for them!), which unfortunately means they can't take cards and so can't take telephone bookings.
