MattTurner
I think the Sheffield Students Union has the best beer garden, the one along Glossop Road. But its only for students i think...
johnbradley
definately. its got a lovely red glow to it now too! lescar has got a goodun! but the sheaf view beer garden is without doubt the best...in the summer, you can all sit on the large grassy verge overlooking the pub. if you dont mind tripping over dogs/beards/leftys its a fine way to spend a summer eve. that and the fact that they have the best selection of real ales in the area:)
goldenfleece
I think the Sheffield Students Union has the best beer garden, the one along Glossop Road. But its only for students i think... That is truly a GREAT and VAST beer garden, its open to all in the daytime, but students only at night. And for those of you looking for City centre beer gardens, the Dove and Rainbow is at long last getting one such very garden, to be opened in June, featuring a raised decking area. You will be surprised how much space is behind the Dove in a currently private central courtyard which is exclusively ours. Its full of old beer kegs and rubbish at the moment, but when cleared and done out with new access from the Pub interior, it will be amazing........... Longcol
Personal favourite is the Three Merry Lads at Lodge Moor with its superb views over the Rivelin Valley.

BasilRathbon
One of Sheffield's best-kept secrets is Fagan's beer garden. If that chap who looks like John Cleese is still the landlord, ask him to show you to it next time you're in!
