in barkers Pool, is it still there and if not what happened to it' i worked there in the 80s they treated the staff like crap, Dave Allen was the owner of that and the casinos, are they still working or have they gone by the wayside, there was napoleons up Ecclessall Rd as well.

its now called banus(was last time i went in).when they first opened it it was quite nice but gone down hill now.im sure if you type it in search this forum on sheffield discussions you will get a good idea of the place now!!!

went a few months after it opened and it was quite nice even classy,then went back a few weeks later and could not believe how far downhill it had gone took half an hour to get served sticky carpets the place was a dump and I have never been back.They should lose the "b" :)

I worked there in the 90;s and they treat you like crap then too, and I had to wear fishnet tights - a helicopter skirt (2 inches from cockpit) and heels, they even sent em home once as I didn't have enough make up on!!:rolleyes:

It was shall we say quite a revealing top!!

In my first week I couldn't understand why all these lads were buying alcopops as they didn't look the type - realised when it was pointed out to me its cause they were on the bottom shelf of the fridge and I was showing my arse off everytime I got them one!! Soon learnt the manoevre of crouching..didn't get as many tips though - though once Peter Stringfellow tipped me £30!!:)

I remember that they used to give bottles of cheap bubbly away to anyone who said it was their birthday or hen-do. Had a few good nights in there, but Roxys is where all my great memories are....

Town is not what it used to be.....

Legends, stone house, fountain bar, gladstones....
