SpiderPete
Blatantly The Old Monk, eurgh. I have to agree here, we were in here the other night, and the sigarette smoke was bad, its since they moved the smoking area up to the top level.
Glennis
Red Lion, near Mappin Street. Never been in before and won't be again before the ban come in. Good atmosphere though.
Bilge
Red Lion, near Mappin Street. Never been in before and won't be again before the ban come in. Good atmosphere though. Do you mean the Red Deer? It can be quite bad in there especially at the front. Last time I was in the Fat Cat, the right hand room was unbearably smoky and with the seats being so close to the bar it can't be good for the beer and food. So I was forced to go in the left hand room which always seems a bit isolated from the 'action' of the bar area. What with the smoke and the reported, now infamous vomit smell, I haven't been back for a while! Only 2 months left now until the new law. Can't wait. barns101
The Greyhound in Ecclesfield was absolutely thick with smoke on Friday afternoon. I'd recommend wearing a biohazard suit before going drinking there! Roll on 1st July!
