Used cooking oil disposal

I always keep the empty bottles i have poured the oil from then use a funnel to fill again with the used oil

if you have a diesel car and you have plenty of fuel in then put it in your tank i know a chap that buys new oil and puts it in his and it runs fine ?

 

I use new veg oil. You can use old but filter it first.

Remember to get a licence from the revenue or your car gets crushed if they catch you.

i used veg oil in my car for about a year. dont tell the government. its environmentally friendly, so thats what they want in it?

make biodiesel, or give it to somebody who will, they can sell it back to you after

From what I can remember, they will pick it up if it if you have a lot of it.

 

Give them a ring and see what they say.

Probably, but if you're going that way, you could drop it at mine instead: I'll make it into fuel.

If anyone reading this has large quantities, then I'm happy to collect.

You shouldn't put it down the drain, somewhere downstream it is quite likely to cause (or at least contribute to) a problem. Used fat is one of the biggest causes of sewer blockages.

I sorted it poured it in the motor oil bin at the recycling place at longley avenue west it was only like 10 litres so not a great amount.
