Dance event @ Upperthorpe Peace Gardens (behind Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre) Saturday 12th May, 1-4pm Be part of an urban dance explosion! Whether you’re a dance star or think you have two left feet…spring into action and give hiphop dance a try! HYPE Dance Company professional Allie Wood will teach us street dance moves, leading to a group performance at the end of the event. Wear trainers and loose clothing! There’ll also be an urban visual art activity, offering you another way to express your creativity, along with the usual chalking, painting and circus skills on offer. Come and celebrate the spring season in style! Everyone welcome! This event is free and for all ages to participate in. Free refreshments provided. Hope to see you there! How to find the event: Follow the chalk arrows! Upperthorpe Peace Gardens is a small green space behind Upperthorpe Healthy Living Centre, Daniel Hill, Upperthorpe, Sheffield S6 3NA. Trams go frequently to Infirmary Road from the City Centre on the Meadowhall-Middlewood line. From there, take Albert Terrace Road and then Shipton Street into Upperthorpe. The Number 31 Bus from Angel Street in the City Centre will drop you outside the Post Office only a minute’s walk away.
