I can honestly say that I've never been bothered by that sort of worry though- I've got a male GP, and a male gynaecologist (and I have no idea of their sexuality and it doesn't matter to me) and a female osteopath and a female therapist who does the honours with the wax every few weeks. You're really making things out to be a whole load more sordid than they are- professional masseurs aren't likely to make you feel at all uncomfortable.
