spada573
I am sure will find plenty of people with great recollections of this once fine hostelry. My favourite memories are of Roger Moffett holding court whilst getting well and truly trousered. (him not me).

Cliffhanger
Was a great Wards pub, one of many we used to frequent. My mate Dave Ellin used to live nearby in Upperthorpe, and I'd go in with his dad Ken, and grandad Mr Boyle - a real old gent. Also Upperthorpe, Meadow and White Rails, are they still there? Last I knew only the Meadow had closed. What about the White Hart; anyone frequent that?
billyhill
When I was Head at Crookesmoor Schoolin the early 90's I used to go in there occasionally with the caretaker of the school. A great lady called Sue Wildsmith and her husband Joe. I thought it was a great pub.
