Decent Italian on West Street

Duvell

I can't remember the name (I know, not helpful) but right up at the top, next to the weatherspoons there is a little Italian. Its a bit tucked away, but the food is good, and reasonably priced and definitely not an English take on the Italian theme. Best way to describe it is to come up onto west street from west one (S1 in front) and turn left, its just there, almost bakc on yourself.

Sounds like Piccolo's to me.

IMO they make the best garlic bread in Sheffield and their steaks are absolutely lovely - a big slab of meat covered pepper sauce. Mmmm.

Only slight complaint is that it's a little pricey although nine times out of ten the food and service is faultless.

Their wine selection is quite good too.

Piccolo's is great, but it might not be ideal for a group of 'mates'.

Depending how many of you there are, and if you aren't too worried about going somewhere "top-notch", you can't go far wrong with K'Pasa.
