Duvell
Evening guys, me and a few mates are wanting to go out this week for a meal and have all decided on Italian. Whats the best on West Street?
Carborundum
Its got to be La Gondola which is just off West st between it and divison st - same street as Walkabouts I think ....

happyhippy
Look no further than Piccolo's. Smallish selection, but very good, reasonably priced, and a Fawltyesque Maitre D' to keep you entertained! Always recommended!
vicki85
I can't remember the name (I know, not helpful) but right up at the top, next to the weatherspoons there is a little Italian. Its a bit tucked away, but the food is good, and reasonably priced and definitely not an English take on the Italian theme. Best way to describe it is to come up onto west street from west one (S1 in front) and turn left, its just there, almost bakc on yourself.

IMO they make the best garlic bread in Sheffield and their steaks are absolutely lovely - a big slab of meat covered pepper sauce. Mmmm. Only slight complaint is that it's a little pricey although nine times out of ten the food and service is faultless. Their wine selection is quite good too. Fantomas
Another vote for Piccolo's - I agree the garlic bread is awesome!
Meaks
Piccolo's is great, but it might not be ideal for a group of 'mates'. Depending how many of you there are, and if you aren't too worried about going somewhere "top-notch", you can't go far wrong with K'Pasa.
neeeeeeeeeek
Piccalo's gets my vote also. They have a big room upstaris as well.
Ousetunes
Piccalo's gets my vote also. They have a big room upstaris as well. They indeed do, but doesn't it have a rather strange smell? (A bit like your granny's.)
