mrsinternet
I need to get myself fit and used to enjoy swimming but don't really fancy Hillsborough Leisure Centre which is my closest pool. Has anybody had any experience of the pool at the University and if so what are the changing facilities like, is there a sauna or steam room available etc.
Garbheinn
Pool is long ?33m? and pretty quiet at the moment as students too busy doing exams/getting bladdered so not a bad time to try it out. No joining fee. £2.50 if you go b4 ?5pm. Changing adequate. Looks like there is a sauna and steam room on the pool side but have never used it. Less likely to come across floaters in the water as you are at Hillsboro' (I speak from experience!!) Staff have always seemed friendly and helpful. mrsinternet
Thanks for that Garbheinn. I'll definitely try it out and it sounds like now would be the best time if all the students are otherwise occupied.
