nikita Posted May 14, 2011 Share Posted May 14, 2011 i do hope the mcanns are innocent,i really want to believe it.but i a feeling that the crap is going to hit the fan in this case..the truth must come out.it is not a point of jelousy that the mcanns could afford to jet off to see the pope,but if you have had a child suspected of being murdered surley you would not want to function or indeed do anything for a while. bagger Posted May 14, 2011 Share Posted May 14, 2011 tbh how many people could afford to go and see the pope over their missing child..maybe they needed forgiveness and needed to offload their guilt.it is a well known fact that murderers need to be in the public eye,to make themselves appear innocent. A well known fact??? Every now and again a murderer will put themselves in the public eye to try and avoid detection. I don't know of any murderers that keep on drawing the public's attention back to the 'crime'. If the McCanns had killed their daughter, accidentally or otherwise, they could pretty much be sure they'd got away with it by now so what do they do, they write a book and get the case pretty much re-opened. That's just it though, there is no scrutiny, even if anyone looks at the McCanns the wrong way they have a team of solicitors slapping injunctions on them before they can blink, clever people i'll give you that. She was behind it all...she escaped from jail and pretended to be a air hostess with BA while flying in and out of Portugal unnoticed!
