I'm sorry - I'm allowed to put my own comments up here and I cannot undesrtand where your proof is for such a suggestion. 'The McCanns must carry the can' - you've clearly made up your mind that they're responsible, but at the same time you're blaming mysterious forces who're trying to get at the UK Government. I don't think it can be both ways - read up on Occam's Razor - the simplest explanation that fits the known facts is frequently the correct one. Basically, a person or persons unknown kidnapped the child for financial gain or another criminal act against the child. There is no need to make a conspiracy theory out of it.
