Walking Or Cycling?

I have a mountain bike that I rarely use but lots of nice quiet areas for me to use it in, there are also lots of lovely walks around here that could be ridden.

 

Id quite like to get the bike out and I already do lots of walking, but to just keep reasonably fit which is the best?

 

 

So, what are the advantages of riding over walking? Or vise versa? Which one will make and keep you healthier?

 

Which do YOU prefer?

Both have benefits. With cycling you can go a bit further and see a bit more of the area. And there is also less pressure on the joints but more pressure on the nuts.
