Fairness in Football Rally

But there is no bigger picture, outside of Sheffield this story is nowhere to be seen.

Unfortunately, young Mr Mill ( ;) ), I fear you're correct.

Every other club is pi**ing themselves at us, and we're doing ourselves no favours by whining on about it.

The Premier League won't change their minds, because it'll make them look like divs (even if they DID get it wrong IMHO), and also, I can't see West Ham just going, "Oh, thats alright then, we'll get relegated instead". They'll be straight off to the High Court and the League wouldn't get started until about 2010.

Nope, it's Blackpool and Barnsley for us next season I'm afraid....

(And the WORST part of all this mullarkey is ending up with Bryan "Interesting" Robson as manager!!!! )

Regarding the "big picture" not being there.

Do you honestly believe that this case is not being closely monitored by all the PL teams and most of the Football League teams in Britain and even Europe ?

Just because it's not being headlined by the press doesn't mean that the interest is not there.

I bet that rules will be tuned-up after this, regardless of the outcome, and that's what's sorely needed in case it should involve any of the current non-supportive fans clubs. :|

Yeah the fans were but the clubs dragged their heels coz no one wanted to rock the boat at that time.

But there is no bigger picture, outside of Sheffield this story is nowhere to be seen. Things have happened in the past where clubs have as you could call it have 'cheated'. Look at the Leicester situation when they went into Admin and got promoted to the Premiership off the back of it. That loophole then got closed by the 10 point deduction but then even that was got round by Leeds this season which meant rules being re-written again.

The impact this Tevez affair will have is that next time the independent panel that rules on this will be more football savvy and know what the implications should be. It's not a petty little dig it's the way a lot of people will see it.

Yes mate & thousands don't agree with it either.

Thanks to all those who turned up yesterday, great show of support.

To those who are saying the wider media are not covering this story, open you eyes, their was a mass of media in London, look at the TV pictures and you will see loads of cameras, also the Fairness in Football campain has been covered over the last few weeks in The Telegraph, The Times, The Mirror, The Sun and Metro papers. It has been featured on Sky Sports News over the past few weeks.

If "no one" outside Sheffield knows or cares then why have SUFC and Look North received messages of support from Brighton, Plymouth, Chelsea, Fulham, Wigan fans etc etc. The UK is aware of what SUFC is trying to do.

Fairness in Fotball for ALL clubs.

Just noted from todays news that Teddy Sherringham and Bobby Zamora have both been arrested and charged for providing false and misleading information and perverting the course of justice in relation to motoring offences !

What is it with West Ham ? Is there no one at that club who is HONEST and capable of telling the truth.
