Medical staff would put on some sort of play/pantomime at Christmas. There was always a queue for the badminton court. New Years eve was always a great night. maryjane Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I used to go, there were crowds of us, had some fantastic new years and christmas eves there, we used it for all our celebrations, birthdays, leaving do`s etc etc, I left before it closed but cant imagine how everyone on that big hospital site socialises without a club of some sort!
