CHAIRBOY
Until this evening, I was unaware there is an indoor bowls tournament taking place at Ponds Forge. I have just pressed the Sky button bringing it into my lounge. I see plenty of empty seats with the average age of those occupying the other seats about 60, some looking as though they are nodding off! Both players are wearing shirts bearing the words "The co-operative - funeral care". I heard earlier on TV that tickets for the final are still obtainable and are free. I just find it a strange sponsor to welcome, as it gives the impression, the game is dying on its feet, when people will tell me the sport is thriving and is not played by geriatrics.
