medusa
I'm considering driving to Stocksbridge tonight - is any of the A6102 still flooded, or Deepcar - not heard much about that but the roads are often very wet there when it rains?? My usual route is Malin Bridge, Wisewood, Wadsley, and up to Worrall, dropping down at Oughtibridge and then straight out on the main road I've been down the A6102 from just north of Wharncliffeside and whilst there are a couple of floods they're both passable. The traffic was moving quite openly this afternoon there.

Binky
Does anyone know if there's a way through to Burngreave and beyond from the city centre? From what I can gather it seems the Wicker is still closed and I can't think of another way through. Destination is Shiregreen, which at the moment seems to be on a distant island... Any help would be greatly appreciated, we're getting desperate!
Flying Duck
The traffic info says that the M1 is closed southbound from Jn 36 to Jn 32. I assume from that, that the M18/M1 link is open??
