stevo
We used to come from Filey just to go to the Limit, on West Street in the 80's...and then drive back or sleep in Weston Park if we were too drunk. Wearing the gear required, we were considered fraks inn our little part of Yorkshire!

glaham
Used to go to the Top Rank every Saturday morning. Saw Hot Chocolate twice, Ian Drury and the Blockheads, and others. Everyone seemed to talk about the Northern Soul all nighters in Wigan. I never got there though.

clogginchris
The Limit was great, so was Turn Ups (in Nether Edge - wierd place for a Nightclub!). My favourite was Genevieves, especially on a wednesday night.
carlishanel
The Genevieve was owned by a guy named Max O'mara it was down the Moor on the road that went behind the Grovesnor Hotel. The nightclub at Owler Bar was first Five Ways then Fanny's. Originally posted by mikey Wasn't it on Eyre St? Next door to Hofbrahaus upstairs? Later became Pennys? Fannys?
